Detroit City Recreational Lacrosse

Summer: July 7 - August 13, 2026

Practice Tuesdays & Thursdays

Our recreational lacrosse league is focused on teaching the sport of lacrosse to youth of all ages 3-15, from Little Laxers to early high school exposure. Combined with character development, Detroit City Recreational Lacrosse will be a fun, introductory environment where all are welcome to learn lacrosse, compete, and fall in love with the game!

Looking for something more competitive, including full equipment and travel to a local tournament? Head over to our Panthers program for youth going into 2nd through 12th grade! Click here for boys and here for girls!

This summer, we will be at six locations!

  • Northwest Activity Center

  • Tindal Recreation Center

  • Durfee Innovation Society

  • Lasky Recreation Center

  • Coleman Young Recreation Center

  • Patton Recreation Center

This is a recreational program, with each practice structured as a clinic learning new skills and an educational component, including age-appropriate lessons in math and physics.
